Birchbox: May 2014 Review

My May Birchbox arrived today!  I like getting Birchbox because it always introduces me to beauty products and brands that I have never tried before.  This month, in addition to the products, Birchbox also sent a discount code to Kate Spade Saturday.  Here's what the products were in my box this month:

Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Overnight Detox Oil:  This is a blend of antioxidant plant oils that is supposed to renew your skin overnight.  It's a small sample, so chances are that I won't be able to see any difference when I use it, but I will give it a shot.

Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Coral Crush:  I can always use more lip balm; I keep them in my purse, in my desk at work, in my coat pocket, etc.  I basically always have a lip balm within arm's reach.  This one has a nice texture, and I like the sheer hint of color that it gives my lips.

Supergoop! Everyday SPF 30 with Cellular Response Technology:  I usually put on a face lotion with SPF in it when I get dressed in the morning, but I recently ran out of the one that I used, so I was happy to get this.  This one has a light texture that is not at all greasy.  I also like the scent of it, so it will be nice for me to use it daily.

Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream in Acai Grapefruit:  This is apparently a Birchbox exclusive.  I haven't tried it yet, but it smells great, so I will put it in my shower and use it soon!

SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Vitamins for Adults:  These are soft and tasty gummy vitamins.  There were two gummies in the packet that I received, which I ate right away.  I already have a gummy multivitamin, but I might consider buying these when I run out.

I really liked this month's Birchbox.  All of the products were new to me, and they were all items that I can use right now.

If you are interested in subscribing to Birchbox, click here.  It only costs $10/month, so it is a good, affordable way to try out new products.

Did you get a Birchbox this month?  Which products did you get and what did you think of them?
