Cuisine Cube: July 2014

My Cuisine Cube arrived today!  Every month, Cuisine Cube delivers a box full of gluten-free foods.  The items are often from brands I haven't heard of before, and I always end up enjoying them.  Here's what was in the box this month:

Freedom Foods Cocoa Crunch Cereal:  This cereal is imported from Australia and is free from gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, and sesame.  I haven't come across too many good gluten-free cereals, so I am excited about this.

Little Lad's Lemon Herb Popcorn:  I never ate that much popcorn before going gluten-free, but it really is a great snack.  This is made with organic lemon and fresh herbs.  I might break this out for movie night this weekend!

Grandpa's Gourmet Citrus Herb Chicken and Fish Encrusting:  Finally some good gluten-free breading!  I am imagining all the possibilities for this and will probably start with some fried chicken.

Lentilicious Mediterranean Lentils:  I've been eating more lentils lately, so these are always welcome.  I also like the fact that these are flavored.  I will cook these as soon as I use up the other lentils in my kitchen.

Bumbalooza Pink Lemonade Donut Mix:  When I first saw the information card, I thought that there were actual donuts in the box.  I was a little surprised to see a mix, but I love to bake (and I love donuts), so I am looking forward to trying this out!

Stroopies Lancaster Dutch Stroopwafels:  I admit that I'm always most excited for the dessert item in my Cuisine Cube box, and I've never been disappointed!  Usually I eat the dessert right away, but today I opened my box after I had eaten a big meal, so I was able to exercise some restraint.  I am looking forward to having these with some coffee tomorrow (or maybe later tonight!).

This was another great month from Cuisine Cube!  I am looking forward to eating all of the items in the box.  Given my affinity for baking (and dessert), I am especially excited to make those donuts!

Cuisine Cube is $29.99/month and is a great way to discover new gluten-free foods.  If you are interested in learning more about the company or would like to subscribe, click here.
