Cuisine Cube: September 2014 Review

I was away for a few days last week, and when I got home, my Cuisine Cube was waiting for me!  Cuisine Cube is a gluten-free food subscription box that costs $29.99/month. It usually includes items that I might not otherwise find in stores.  Here's what I got this month:

Bee Nut Free Granola Bars in Chocolate Chip and Cran Citrus:  These are free of not only gluten, but also milk, eggs, and peanuts.  I put them into my bag to take to work.

Molino Di Nicoli Gluten Free Couscous:  The ingredients on this are written in Italian, but I believe this is made out of corn.  I'm really excited to try this out and see how it compares to regular couscous.

Wai Lana Cassava Chips:  I love cassava (otherwise known as yucca), but I don't think I've ever seen cassava chips in the store.  I may or may not have eaten this entire bag already...

Le Veneziane Microwaveable Pasta Express:  This is also corn-based, like many gluten-free pastas.  However, this is also microwaveable, which I find very interesting.  I haven't had many good experiences with microwaveable pasta in the past, but I think this has potential.

Superbutter Nut Free Seed Butter:  I (very fortunately) don't have a peanut allergy, and I love peanut butter.  This is a nice change of pace, though.  It is made of mostly sunflower seeds with sesame and flax seeds as well, and it tastes great.

Morning Sunshine Apple Quinoa Cookie:  This can be eaten as a snack or for breakfast.  I haven't tried it yet, but it is soft, and I am looking forward to eating it--maybe for breakfast tomorrow!

I always like getting Cuisine Cube because I can't get a lot of these gluten-free products otherwise.  This month was no exception, and I'm looking forward to eating all the items that I haven't finished already!
