Socialbliss The Style Box: August 2014 Review

My Socialbliss August Box arrived today!  I was expecting it on Monday, but for some reason it took a different route than usual and spent some extra time in a neighboring state.  I had to work late today, so it was great to get to open this when I finally got home!  This month's box had an end of summer theme and included items that are supposed to help you enjoy the remaining days of the season.  Here's what I got this month:

Laser-Cut Tote:  I had been wanting a laser-cut bag, and I like the color and size of this.  The material is faux leather but actually has a soft leather feel to it, which is very nice.

Turquoise Necklace by Influence:  This is a very cute turquoise pendant shaped like an acorn.  It is something that will go with many outfits, and I'm sure I will wear it a lot.

Double Bar Cuff Bracelet:  Even though I would have preferred this in gold, this is probably my favorite item in the box.  It is delicate enough to wear every day but still makes a statement.

Bare Escentuals Retractable Lip Brush:  I think I have a lip brush already, but I can always use another one.  Also, this one has a cap and is a good size for a travel bag.

Papillon Visor:  I actually like this a lot more than the hat I got in my Popsugar box a couple months ago.  It's adjustable, and I think it will be perfect for the beach or just when I am out in the sun.  I also like the way it rolls up so easily to put into a bag.

Metallic Hex Tattoo by The Pi Collection:  I am thinking of cutting this up so that I can arrange the hexagons however I want.  I haven't used a temporary tattoo in a very long time, but I think this is a fun addition to the box.

I think this was my favorite of the past few Socialbliss The Style Boxes.  Since summer is almost over already (!), I probably won't end up using some of these items for a while.  But there's always next year!
