Popsugar Must Have Box: April 2014 Review

My Popsugar Must Have April Box arrived today!  I already knew what the contents of the box would be, since there were extensive spoilers this month.  I was still excited to see everything for myself, of course.  Here's what I got:

BlueAvocado (Eco) Shopper:  This is a reusable shopping tote that was designed by Lauren Conrad for BlueAvocado.  It is made out of recycled plastic bottles and folds into a little pouch.  At first, I thought that there was a separate pouch that stored the bag.  However, the pouch is actually part of the bag!  It unzips and becomes the bottom panel of the bag.  I love that feature; it's so much more convenient that way.  Farmer's market season is coming up, and this will be perfect for that.  The print is also very cute.

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette:  This is an eyeshadow palette featuring nine different shades sorted into "day," "classic," and "fashion" groups.  I really don't need yet another eyeshadow palette, but this one is very nice, and the colors seem very versatile.

Graphic Image Pocket Notes:  This is a pocket-sized notebook.  I'm not too excited by it, but it seems to be good quality, and I'm sure I can use it somewhere.

Caldrea Rosewater Driftwood Hand Soap:  I have always wondered if there was a noticeable difference between more expensive brands of hand soap and the stuff I buy at Target (actually, right now my soap is from Trader Joe's, and I love it).  Regardless, this soap has a subtle yet sweet and distinct smell that is very pleasant.  This has a retail price of $10.50, which is more than I would ever think to pay for hand soap, so I am curious to try it.  I will use it as soon as I use up my current soap.

Fresh Pastry Stand Totally Awesome Tea Towel Set:  These tea towels seem to be good quality and will certainly be useful in my kitchen.  The words "totally" and "awesome" on them seem a bit random for tea towels, but they are cute.

Naturebox Popsugar Must Have Mix:  This is a trail mix that was created exclusively for Popsugar by Naturebox.  It contains almonds, soybeans, corn, and cranberries.  Sounds good to me!  I'm looking forward to trying it.

I thought this box had a nice assortment of products.  I wasn't as amazed by this box as I have been by some other subscription boxes I've gotten, but I do like it.  I am sure that I will use all of the items in the box, which is not something I can always say.

If you are interested in subscribing to Popsugar, click here.  Boxes are $40/month, but you can use the promo code REFER5 for $5 off your first box.  I think it's worth checking out!
