Cuisine Cube: June 2014 Review

My Cuisine Cube box was delivered the other day, and as always, I was eagerly awaiting its arrival.  It's been almost a year since I had to stop eating gluten, and I do sometimes miss being able to eat certain things.  Cuisine Cube is a great way for me to discover gluten-free foods that I might not usually see in the store.  Plus, they always include dessert, which I appreciate!  Here's what I got this month:

Southern Culture Artisan Foods Vanilla Pancake Mix:  Pancakes are always welcome, and I like the fact that these are flavored with vanilla.  I will be making these for breakfast this weekend!

The Billy Goat Chip Company Russet Potato Chips:  Initially, I wasn't too excited to see these, since potato chips are generally gluten free, and they're not exactly hard to find.  However, these are probably the best potato chips I've ever had.  I love potato chips, but I don't usually like the flavored varieties because the flavors tend to be overpowering for me.  But these have just the right amount of seasoning, and they are crispy and not greasy at all.  I am already planning to buy more!

Grab the Gold Protein Snack Bar:  This is an all-natural snack bar made of ingredients such as oats, peanut butter, and chocolate.  I put it in my bag for work and ate it as a mid-afternoon snack yesterday.  It was tasty and filling, and I wasn't starving when I got home like I usually am.

BiAglut Pasta Senza Glutine Bucatini:  This is like a larger version of spaghetti, with a hollow center in the noodle.  This will be great in a recipe that has a lot of sauce.

The Pure Wraps Coconut Sandwich Wrap:  These are wraps that are made of coconut meat.  I assume that they will taste like coconut, but I like coconut, so that isn't a problem.  I haven't had much luck with gluten-free wraps in the past because the texture always seems a little off.  I am curious to try these.

Thumbs Cookies Sugar Cookies:  Not surprisingly, I opened these as soon as I got the box.  They are tiny, delicate, and basically perfect little sugar cookies.  I never would have been able to tell that they were gluten-free.  This is another product that I might have to order more of!

As always, I was very happy with my Cuisine Cube this month.  So far, I have enjoyed all of the products I have eaten, and I am looking forward to trying all the rest.
