Glossybox for Bergdorf Goodman: May 2014 Review

I had heard good things about Glossybox, but I already have so many beauty products that I didn't think I should subscribe to another beauty box.  However, when I heard that Glossybox was partnering with Bergdorf Goodman, I couldn't resist getting the May box.  I ordered my box later in the month, so it didn't arrive until yesterday.  Here's what I got:

Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer:  This came in several little packets, but they were nicely packaged in a box.  This primer is supposed to allow makeup to "automatically" glide over the skin.  I tried it this morning, and I didn't notice much of a difference between this product and other primers I've used.  But it still works well, and I am happy to have more primer.

Revive Intensite Volumizing Eye Serum:  A full-sized version of this serum costs $350!  It is supposed to diminish the look of dark circles and under-eye bags, both of which I have.  I haven't used this yet, but for the price, I am expecting it to work!

Alterna Caviar CC Cream:  This is a leave-in product for hair that is supposed to deliver many benefits such as moisture, shine, and UV protection.  I am always wary of putting too much product in my fine hair, but I will give this a try.  

Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme Cologne Absolue:  Despite its name, this perfume doesn't smell very floral to me; it's more of a woody scent.  It's not the type of scent that I usually wear, but it is long-lasting, and I like it.

Lancer Lift Serum Intense:  At $275 for a full size, this is another pricey item.  It is supposed to deliver firming and lifting effects to skin, and I am excited to try it out!

Hourglass Cosmetics Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara:  I am not going to have to buy mascara for a very long time after getting so many different brands in subscription boxes.  This one is supposed to volumize, separate, lengthen, and condition lashes.  That sounds good to me!  I will use this as soon as I use up all the other mascaras that I have!

$25 Gift Card for Bergdorf Goodman:  Maybe I can use this as an excuse to visit the store next time I am in NYC!

Even though I already have so many beauty products, this box has an amazing value, and it definitely allowed me to try out products that I otherwise never would.  I'm not sure if I will continue my Glossybox subscription right now, just because I think I need to use up the products that I have before I start getting even more.  But this is certainly a box that I will keep an eye on in the future!
