Popsugar Must Have Box: June 2014 Review

 

My Popsugar Must Have Box arrived yesterday!  I had seen spoilers online, but as always, I couldn't wait to see the contents for myself.  Here's what I got this month:

I like the redesigned information card!

The One & Only by Emily Giffin:  According to the description, this is a "highly anticipated novel of an unlikely romance and lifelong friends set against the backdrop of Texas football."  I'm a huge bookworm, but I don't usually enjoy books of this particular genre.  I read the beginning of the book, and I do like the author's writing style, but I don't really think the story is for me.  I'm sure I can find someone else who will read it though.

Sachajuan Shiny Citrus Body Lotion:  I use body lotion daily, no matter what the season, so I was glad to see this in the box.  I'm not a huge fan of the scent of this--it reminds me of dish soap, oddly enough.  However, it is moisturizing while still being light enough for the humid summer months, so I will use it.  

Turkish-T Turkish Towel:  I still haven't gotten around to using the Turkish towel I received in the Resort Box a couple months ago, but now that I have a pair of them, I will have to put them in my bathroom (or hopefully have a chance to take them to the beach).  I've never used Turkish towels before, but they are supposed to be extremely absorbent.  They will be great for the summer.

You Smell Lemon Wet Wipes:  These are antibacterial wipes that are supposed to be both durable and gentle.  These will be convenient to carry around in my bag.

Lollies Basics Hair Ties:  These are very cute.  I have long hair that I like to wear down, but I almost always have a hair tie on my wrist for when I inevitably want to put it up.  These look nice on my wrist, and they aren't supposed to stretch out like regular hair bands do.  I used one today, and I found that it was a bit looser than my regular hair band, but it still worked fine and kept my hair up for hours.
  

One Potato Two Potato Hawaiian BBQ Potato Chips:  I love kettle chips, but I'm not a big fan of BBQ flavored, or any flavored chips, for that matter.  I will try these, but I'm sure my bf will eat them if I don't want to!

Native Union $15 Gift Card:  I like the Monocle speaker and the portable chargers on the Native Union website, so I might use this gift card toward buying those.  

This wasn't my favorite Popsugar Must Have Box, but I think it was still well put together, and I will use most of the items.  Popsugar Must Have is one of my favorite boxes, so I am looking forward to next month!
