Snow Day!

I woke up this morning, and everything was covered in snow.  The roads weren't great, so I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go to work today, but unfortunately we were still open.  So I cleared the snow off my car and set out.  About 30 min of slipping and sliding later, I was only about halfway to work and was stuck (not literally, thankfully) in a line of traffic that was barely moving.  Of course, it was then that I got the notification from work that we would be closed today.  Ugh.  So I (very slowly) made my way back home.  

Apparently a plow came through the parking lot.  The roads outside still aren't plowed though.

I hope the snow plows come through and clear the roads by tomorrow morning.  I haven't been very impressed with my town's ability to deal with snowy roads this season, though, so I'm not too optimistic.

Oh well, at least I get to enjoy the rest of my day off!  I think I will go and make some hot chocolate and/or soup.
