Thursday Thoughts

I'm trying something new this week and linking up with Jen from Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Thursday Thoughts! 

• This is a good day for Thursday thoughts because I have another snow day today!  NJ is in a state of emergency, and I wasn't even going to try to get to work this morning with the heavy snow (we are closed anyway).  It looks like it's slowed down a bit now, but I think it's supposed to start up again later today.  We are supposed to get something like 10 inches by the time all is said and done tomorrow morning.  I am not looking forward to digging out my car or tomorrow's morning commute!  

• It is nice to have a day off, though.  Sure, I could do something productive with my extra time, but instead I am watching TV and painting my nails for Valentine's day with the ncLA polish I got in the Popsugar Must Have Box this month (read my review of it here).  It's a great color and goes on well.  

• I got my Birchbox yesterday so will be posting my review of it soon.  I am also expecting Ipsy and Taste Guru soon, although they might be delayed a bit by the weather.

• Speaking of subscription boxes, what are your favorites?  Not that I really need another subscription, but I am always on the lookout for new ones.  I can't help myself! 

• I just bought tickets for the Coffee and Tea Festival in NYC!  This year's festival will be on March 22-23 and will feature more than 60 exhibitors of coffee, tea, and some foods.  It's a lot of fun if you are a coffee or tea lover.  I went last year, and I enjoyed it so much that I went to the one in Philadelphia in the fall too!  I preferred the one in NYC since it is larger and has more exhibitors, but they were both great.  Most of the booths give out free samples, and the first 1500 people who get there each day also receive a free gift bag with various samples inside.  This is a great way to spend a day, so if you are near NYC or would like to go there for a day/weekend in March, I recommend this event!
